RIFT BETWEEN EBIRA LOCAL MUSICIAN IN KADUNA: ODOVIDI FORUM DENIED KNOWLEDGE

Responding to our correspondence after the monthly sitting of the ODOVIDI FORUM in Badarawa kaduna, the spokesman his majesty Ahmed Aroke the odividi of rigasa said kaduna was zoned by the EBIRA PEOPLE ASSOCIATION (EPA).
        The essence of the forum is to look into the affairs of EBIRA people and suggest for a way forward he also said when the odeyani of EBIRA in kaduna was turban they now take any issue that is beyond them to him. Aroke said every Odovidi monitor the affairs of his zone. When asked about the looming crisis between some EBIRA musicians in kaduna Aroke said this is a general issue that should be handled by EPA, he also said no Odovidi can leave his zone to interfere in issue in another zone except he was invited by the odividi because there power is limited to there zone, he added that those musicians actually came from a particular zone so is the duty of the odividi in his zone to call him to order but he continued he can take the issue to E P A, he added that to best of his knowledge the ODOVIDI FORUM is not aware of any rift going on.

 A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday ordered that a warrant be issued to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for immediate arrest of former Governor of Kogi, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. Justice Emeka Nwite, in a ruling on EFCC’s ex-parte motion, held that after listening to the submission of commission’s counsel, Rotimi Oyedepo, SAN, and reading the affidavit in support of the motion, including the exhibits and written address, he was inclined to grant the application. he News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) had, earlier reported that a High Court sitting in Lokoja on Wednesday, restrained the EFCC from arresting, detaining and prosecuting Bello Justice I.
