HOPE RESTORED: Barr Ladi Pays WAEC, NECO Fees For Orphans In Okene

The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Multilateral and Donor Agencies, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto has donated cash to pay WAEC and NECO examination fees for students of Ideal Orphanage Nursery/Primary and Secondary School in Agassa, Okene local government.

The donations was made in Okene on Friday through Barr. Jatto’s NGO, Global Green Pillars Initiative.

Barr. Jatto, who is the Project Coordinator of the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) in Kogi State, also donated school uniforms and writing materials to the students.

Presenting the cash donation to the management of the school, Hajia Ahmed Nana Ozioma, commended the founders and managers of the school for their efforts towards uplifting the lives of children of the less privileged, especially the orphans.

She urged the students to make good use of the opportunity and wished them success in their examinations.

Responding, the Proprietor of the school thanked Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for his eagle eyes in selecting only the best, as hope was completely lost for some of the students to participate in the 2021 SSCE/NECO.

“However, immediately the school approached Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, through her NGO, she swung into action and paid their WAEC/NECO fees, and went further to provide writing materials and uniforms for all the students

“This unbeatable gesture will remain ever green in our hearts, even as we pray for God’s blessings to continually be upon Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and his kind hearted appointees,” she said.
